Hello,

I filmed on the hvx200 and am editing in a 1080i/ 24p project. Im trying to burn some of the footage on blu ray , but i'm having some problems exporting. I tried using the adobe media encoder, and going the blu ray h.264 route. But That gave me errors while trying to burn in encore. I exported as an AVI and it burned fine, but when I play it back its all pixelated. What settings should I be using?

Thanks

I've found that it's best to export your video via Premiere Pro on the Adobe Media Encoder as blu-ray h.264 Make sure your framerate matches your composition. Frame size should be 1280x720 or 1920x1080 (Non-square pixel ARs seem to not always work)

Once you have your files, import them into Adobe Encore, and set it to not transcode for BLU-RAY burning.

For HD menus, you need to edit the menu in Photoshop and change the image size to your HD resolution, then it will open into encore.

I've been pretty disappointed with encore and the HD capability. It really feels hacked in, but it does work if you have some patience and some knowhow.
