Blu-ray burning complications

I have been trying to burn a blu-ray disc for the past 3 days with no success. The main problem is that my TV is reading it as 4:3 SD. I am trying to output a 720p video, 30fps with encore. I setup the project 720p 59.94. everything burns fine untill I go to check the info on my tv and it says 480pSD 4:3?? what is the problem here. I tried burning videos using toast as well, all I did was drag a videoclip onto the bluray video source and hit burn. it reads it as 480, ive tried using all different types of footage with no success? I even tried using the share option in FCP just to see if it would read as 720p or 1080i but still 480??? I am slowly losing my mind, someone please help me of give me tips if you have done similiar. All the footage is DVCproHD

also when i check my bitrate on the ps3 info it averages at about 25mbs so that seems pretty standard from what i have read. but 480?? whats going on

Could you perhaps upload a small sample of this clip online? No more than 5 sec. is necessary, I could just a stream check to get an idea... If something is reading it as SD, then the stream was likely encoded SD; rarely is it a hardware error... Why that would happen is up to you to find out (configuration in Encore perhaps?).
