Blu-Ray authoring

My new LG GBW-H20L works great. My test video in full HD looks beautiful on my HD TV. My only disappointment is that I cannot view commercial discs (movies) on my computer. The software that comes with the LG includes a media player, but when it tests my hardware it says my monitor, an HP f2105 (1680x1050) is not HDCP compliant or something like that.

Using the alternative VGA port with a DVI adapter does not work either. "No signal"

Is there a way to avoid buying a new monitor?

REVISION: I originally posted that BD-R's made on the drive would not play on the drive, but I erred. Guess I was confused. Commercial discs will not play due to a glitch in the HDCP copy protection, I guess. I suspect my video card more than the monitor.

Bill,

What about trying Vegas Pro 8/9? They offer BluRay Disk Authoring as part of
the package. I have Vegas Pro 8/9 but don't have a BR burner as of yet so I can't
really say how it works.

Just a suggestion, you could dwnld. the demo and try it out to see if it works.

I put the wrong title on this thread. I can author blu-ray discs just fine with Premiere Pro. My real question is how to get commercial movies in Blu-Ray to play on my computer. My monitor is HDCP compliant but the Cyberlink program that came with the LG burner says it isn't. Cyberlink support responded to my query with a standard response that did not match my situation. A second request for help from them has been totally ignored.
