Carlito's Way is the best! I just finished watching BLOW for the 100th time. Fav scene in movie, "you failed b/c you had the wrong dream".

Blow was a bad impression of a Scorsese film. Carlitos Way was pretty good, but nowhere near DePalmas' best.

I liked Blow, but there were elements in that film that I could identify with in a big way, so it drew me in and I liked it. Cried like a baby. Meanwhile, my mom hated it in the same viewing ("nothing but drug dealers and cursing!") but my daughter liked it too, cried for the same reasons. So, yeah, Blow was good. Cant say on Carlito's Way. Not seen it.

The last scene of Blow still gets to me. I love that film.

Sean Penn is brilliant in Carlito's Way.

I liked Blow but I found it next to impossible that a guy could get that powerful and rich in the drug world without hurting people. Bloody unlikely.
