Blood Splatter / Head Explode

Hello all,

I am looking for a pre-keyed (background removed) blood splatter effect. I am shooting on a DVX100, so it can be standard definition. It doesn't have to be perfect but I am using it for a "head explode" effect (from a gunshot). The short I am making is on the comical side, but I want the effect to look somewhat disgusting or exaggerated.

Does anyone have a similar effect that I could use? I am looking into buying Action Essentials 2 from videocopilot, but I bought some other training DVDs recently, and am going to have to wait on buying the Action Essentials set.

Video CoPilot action essentials is a good product for such things.

But since you mentioned you got some other training DVD's that would lead me to believe you are still learning. I would suggest shooting some of your own blood splatters and keying them out yourself. You will learn so much from doing the work and using the tools. I'm the type of person who likes to create my own stuff because it helps me to master the tools.
 
I'm going to be using greenscreen more in the future just for fun, which will help me learn the tools, but at the moment I hope I can find something that will work for my short film that won't take so much work and cleanup.
 
I ended up just buying it...I was kind of looking to save some money because I just needed the 1 effect, but I just put the gun in my mouth and pulled the trigger.
