Blogs  Who, What, Why?

How many of you people have blogs and why? I have been on a tour of some blogs and some are interesting, Though some seem to be nothing more than advertising disguised as a blog. It just seemed that we like to communicate here in the DVX community by sitting before our computer screens, I would think a fair amount of us do some blogging. If you have a blog, I would like to know why ie what you use it for, what you get out of it and wether or not you promote it. I just found out that a new blog is started every 3 seconds...Wow!

I have one called "How It Is". I've had it going for about a year & 1/2. I use it for my rants, raves, things others may find interesting, humor, news, opinions, etc. I get a fair amount of hits (in the 10000's per month). It's really therapeutic to have an outlet and have people there to read and validate your thoughts. Check it out, and feel free to comment on anything...

You ought to... if you don't have a server and space/know how to install and manage your own, you can use blogger.com. It's quick & easy & free.

If you're feeling particularly wrathful with your blog, you can call it Mino's Acid.   :D

Kyle (Kai) helped me set one up I use for a small town's high school-related website. It's used primarily to report on the boys and girls sports teams, etc.
