Hey
I would go to the apple support but I dont find them very supportive.
Im having trouble burning files into DVD on a mac.
usually, its simple to just drag a file to a blank CD when it pops up on your desktop. but whenever I put in a blank DVD, it usually doesnt read it.

Is there a way that I can burn files into DVDs? I heard iDVD does it but the option for it isnt highlighted. Please help, it would really be...helpful. thanks

go into system preferences choose cds and dvds and then you can tell it what to do when a blank dvd is inserted.

He must not be doing something right. All you have to do is put the blank DVD-R in the computer then drag what ever you want on it to the DVD icon and then you should see the little prompt that comes up saying its Copying files. I just had someone burn me some software recently and I put on DVD-R. Everything works fine and saved me $500!
