I got the basics but since this is a gift to be delivered via the interwebz I wonder if anyone can help me render the blacks correctly (I don't have the phone here). All I know is that the phone doesn't "seem" to crush the blacks, but I only saw it once or twice, and never really saw video playing on it, let alone an h.264.
For my little BlackBerry 8830 I found that a properly graded video just needs a (linear) curve lifting the blacks with the top end untouched, just set the bottom end to X:0, Y:10.
Anyone render stuff for the HTC Hero care to help me out please?
