Blackmagic Design Video Assist 1080p60 SD Card?

There are some cards over 100MBps, I thought they were like 192MBps but I might be wrong. Check Sandisk Extreme series.

It seems like according to AJA Data Calc's APP, ProRes 1080p60 is 41.2MB/s. B&H has some cards at 60MB/s max write speed, so on paper that would work, which might be cutting it close for sustained recordings.

And after the BMD Pocket Camera being very picky about what cards it liked / didn't like, I'm wondering of the Video Assist will be as difficult to pick out usable cards. I guess mostly just a wait & see.

According to: https://www.sandisk.com/home/memory-cards

Fastest speed is 280/250 MB/s, but that is for UHS-II & the Video Assist only supports UHS-I cards, so I'm guessing you wouldn't see nearly those speeds. Fastest UHS-I cards are 95/90 MB/s (Extreme Pro), which would (again, on paper) be fast enough for 1080p60 ProRes.

Though the Extreme Plus & Extreme cards seem fast enough too.

The 64GB Extreme Pro is fairly cheap, I got one for my GH2 about a month ago and it was only like $50. The Extreme Pro 32GB is not as fast! Just something to be aware of.
