Blackmagic Deck link cards?

Does any one out there use a Decklink card from Blackmagic?

I'm getting ready to upgrade both my computer and NLE and am thinking of adding a Deck link card primarily to use uncompressed video going to DVD where all of my output winds up and possibly to up rez to HD.

Is any one doing that and if so how's it working out?

I'm also using a Panasonic AG-DV 2500 DV deck for capture and it's RS-422 control capable which is supposed to be more accurate than Firewire due to firewire delay.

Any thoughts or tips?

The most important thing about a decklink card is that you must have enough resources on the northbridge of your MB, so make sure to check that.

I'm installing a ASUS workstation board probably this weekend in my machine, cause my intel X38 bonetrail is just not cutting it! for other reasons too, not just the decklink.

Also check out NVidia's new range of Quadro CX chipsets if you're using Creative Suite.
