Wow, don't know if this was already announced but I noticed that the Blackmagic 4K camera on such sites as B&H and Adorama WILL come with DaVinci Resolve and UltraScope, at the same first-announced price of $3,995. I don't think the initial announcements had the softwares included (Blackmagic site still does not indicate that they're included as with the first generation cinema camera).

VERY neat. (Now I'm seriously considering the jump from my 5DIII)

The original announcement did state that, as well as the Pocket Camera only getting Resolve Lite.

I am not at all excited until I see demo footage. the BMC 2K cam has aliasing issues that made it decidedly sub-par. I'd much rather have clean 1080p than hyper-aliased 4K.

Didn't realize that, Atari. And I didn't realize it was a free download either, regnaleb. (Wow, you can tell I haven't been on here in a while!)

Robert, I agree. I saw some BMC 2K footage last night and was not impressed. Definitely saw potential though but need to see more.
