Did anyone see a film called "Black Water"? When my friends brought it in and told me the plot I was REALLY bummed that I would have to sit through another lame ass piece of garbage croc movie, full of bad acting, bad specially effects, bad storyline, bad everything. Instead I was surprise to find a nice and smart independent little film with all the touches and tense moments to get you interested from beginning to end. It reminded me a little bit of Open Water but with more suspense. Don't expect a master piece full of visual poetry and amazingly crafted cinematography...but be prepared to be entertained by a nicely paced good suspense flick with acting and directing far better than usual when you look at the genre in question (again, don't expect Kubrik here).
