Beat Takeshi
Two-Hip Shakur
Hey if anyone has kids they should take them to see these guys if they come to your town. http://www.blackviolin.net/
Actually its enjoyable for all walks of life even if you don't listen to Hip Hop or Classical.
I shot 2 shows and some B-roll for them yesterday and the show ROCKS hard. Both shows were packed and both times the crowd was on their feet throwing their hands in the air and having an amazing time. They are classically trained but took it to another level. Its a must see. We interviewed kids after the show and all of them wanted to learn to play the Violin after they saw it could be cool. Their were people from all walks of life there including some well known violinists and both old and young enjoyed it equally. The most common comment was that they loved that it was an interactive show.
Check them out if you get a chance.
