Black Shading

[Kenneth Lau]

Does anybody know what does 'Black Shading' a camera mean???

[David W. Jones]

It's basically Red's term for a black balance, in the maintance menu. There are issues with the new Red cameras where temperature changes to the sensor affect the black shading.
