Black out.

I have a character in my film and I want to make his eyes completely black. Any idea how I could accomplish this in post?
I would have just had my actor where contacts, but the idea came to me too late.
Which would be better to use. Photoshop or after effects.

Both...AE and Photoshop

Photoshop to paint it out frame by frame

but i suppose you can do that with AE too and jus add some tracking to the painted object.

If you do it in photoshop...make a film strip file of the footage...but that means you have to go frame by frame and paint out...no tracking needed...jus a lot of time and patience.

You're going to get a lot jitter in photoshop. Use the tracker in AE to move the black dots over the eyes.
