Black Magic Intesity Pro....should I get it???

I use an HD DSLR and ive been putting the card into my reader and copying files over and editing that way. I'm looking at the Black Magic Intesity Pro card and I guess im basically asking, is this a better way to edit? I have NO clue. Does anyone have experience with these things?? Pros/cons....is it a waste of money for me?? thanks in advance!

Their main use when using card based footage from cameras like a DSLR, is to provide a video output from your computer to feed a preview monitor like an HD TV for editing and color correcting purposes.
