The question is:
When I shoot at 0 gain and wide open, I get noise in the under lit portions and blacks in the video. It looks like the noise induced by adding gain. The noise only shows up after I import in FCP. . When I play back the same footage right off the card thru the camera the picture, including the under lit parts and the blacks, look beautiful. It leads me to believe that there may be something happening in the transfer. Any ideas?
I was shooting 720 60p at 1/30 shutter. Thanks for any responses.
