Black Egg Crate Louvers?

Anybody know of a source for black plastic egg crate loouvers (kino-flo style)?

Home Despot has them in white and chrome, but that won't cut the mustard.

Have you considered painting them? Some high-temp engine paint might do, if it doesn't react badly with the plastic.

Rustoleum or similar name brands make paints for plastics. I don't think that you would need high temp paint for flos.

Yeah, no. I don't want something that will start flaking off and have white bits coming thru the cracks...

Talk to a lighting contractor. I know they make those plastic louvers you are talking about in black, I've seen them installed in bulidings. Ask the guy at Home Depot. Strike that, ask the guy at Home Depot's boss. :laugh:

Lowel sells 'em for their CaseLites, so you might look in their catalog for replacement parts.
