Hi there.
It's been a while (of course, most of you probably don't know me or this project...)
Well, just wanting to share... he new poster art may be...
Okay, a couple of updates about "Black Dahlia" (and as some of you may or may not know, there's a big budget Hollywood movie that Millenium/NuImage and Signature are doing... and haha... we started first!... anyhow...)
First off, I put up some more pictures at my livejournal: http://www.livejournal.com/users/ramziabed/
I know I haven't posted in a while, but for those of you in England, I hope you got to watch Jonathan Ross' "The Secret Map Of Hollywood" ( http://tv.msn.press.net/channel.php... find out more by going to [url]www.bbc.co.uk or by looking up "secret map of hollywood" and "dahlia" on Google ( or simply http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q="secret+map"+hollywood+dahlia&btnG=Google+Search ).
Also not much of a big deal to most of you probably, but there will be an article/interview in the May issue of Post Magazine ( www.postmagazine.com ) about our movie, and we talk a bunch about both the Varicam and the DVX... Anyhow, the article will be coming out in a month... so check it out.
OH... AND ALSO... For those of you who like music, our composer, David J (of Love & Rockets, Bauhaus fame, http://www.davidjonline.com ) is performing with his band, Bauhaus at the end of the month at COACHELLA ( http://www.coachella.com ). They'll be playing right before Coldplay. I talked to David yesterday night, and he said they're going to start rehearsing for the show, starting next week.
And of course, the flick is at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0372005/
Nothing much else to report right now... a whole bunch of distributors have been talking with us about the film... but we've still got to schedule our last week of shooting to wrap the thing up!
Well... thanks for listening...
All the best,
Ramzi Abed
