Can anybody lead me, step by step, about how to put something into the frame (bullet holes hitting a windshield for example) which was shot against a black backround.

What I want to happen is have the bullet holes appear, but without the black backround, in frame where there is a car...

I hope i was clear with my wording

Any takers who can describe in detail?

Post screenshots of the bullet hole footage so we have a better idea of what you're talking about.

You can apply a chroma key effect and then take the eyedropper and select the black.

Remember, though, that all of the black will become transparent, including inside the holes.
