BizonBOX 2 eGPU for Mac

That depends what you want to do? CUDA and rendering in apps? Gaming on the internal or an external monitor?

Let me give you an example. I have a mid-2011 iMac which has Radeon 6970M (~1 TFlops). This iMac has TB1. If I get eGPU system with Titan X, just how much more power will I have for using Resolve 12? I know, it sounds horrible that I have to use such an archaic system for Resolve at the moment :) I was about to buy a new workstation, but then I found out that everybody is upgrading their hardware next year, so I'll try to survive until then :D

I think I can't answer that question because I am not working with such apps. I also don't know if they rely on the PCIe bandwidth that much.
Some apps don't require at lot of bandwidth. E.g. bitcoins are often mined with PCIe x1 or x4 connections.

But I can assure you, that there will be a performance boost. Is there a way for me to test anything for ya, even if I don't own the programs?

Here is an example of someone running a Titan Z (dual GPU card) and working in Octane and Cinema 4d (you can skip the first minutes and start watching at 10:09)
