Bizarre FCP problem.

Have you changed anything in your configuration? New plugins? Codecs? Anything? Any new software?

try view default workspace or something like that. just a thought, I haven't messed with compressor in ages....
all together it sounds like you wiped out some kind of cache files somewhere hmm???

GaryOldman,

I love your movies with Tim Roth.

LS3 may = Look Suite version 3. This is part of the Magic Bullet software. I would try to uninstall all of your Magic Bullet software, and return it for a new copy.

All of a sudden, whenever I try to open Final Cut Pro 6, it stops and says, 'Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly' and claims it's most likely because of the LS3 renderer.' But when I search for 'LS3 renderer', my Mac can't find a trace of such a thing. I trashed my preferences, I uninstalled FCP and reinstalled it, but for some strange, annoying, ridiculous reason, it won't start because of this mysterious LS3 renderer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not used to FCP doing nonsense like this, it's usually Premiere that tries to pull these sorts of stunts....

Thanks.

UPDATE: Compressor has also decided it doesn't work anymore. Very frustrating.

I know this is an old post, but just to be clear for anyone else with this problem-- LS3 render IS MB Looks. I know this because I get that message every time I shut down FCP (though it never crashes while I'm working), and Quick Looks is one of only 9 or 10 plugins I own.
