Birns and Sawyer-Image 2000 quick release suggestions

Hey all, my buddy gave me a shoulder support system and I now need to find a quick release for it much like one on a tripod. I searched the old archives and found a few posts but they were outdated with their links so I don't know what anyone was referring to.

I've got a cartoni focus mounting plate on the bottom of my hvx with a rail system so I need something thats beefy enough to hold the weight. Any suggestions? Thanks,

I'm thinking this would work. I just have to check the dimensions and make sure they're the same as the cartoni's plate so they'd be interchangeable.

hmmm. Nope don't think so. The cartoni plate is 2'' wide and the Manfrotto ones are 2 1/4''.
