So many stabilizers around this same price point. I know the AS 7 has a group buy and may have advantages over this model, but it lacks the follow features of the Birdycam stabilizer.

Birdycam's actual performance, as in doing what it's designed to do, excels beyond most of these Gimbals. I believe it's probably the most solid of Alexmos based rigs, and only "lacks" the payload max to carry a larger camera.

Being able to fly 50mm stable is a big deal.

Most of the time you're seeing people flying a Maximum of like 18mm, I've seen this thing hit 50MM+ without stabilization in post and it looks mean. It does fly a 4K Blackmagic as well, global shutter + gimbal and all.
