Bikers Korner...........

I don't have a big bike but was an "honorary member" :) of a local club back in my home island, got to shoot this unity ride a couple of months ago. Was shooting this from the back of a Custom Honda Gold Wing trike. :)

Nice vids.

My bike is a vintage Royal Enfield; I took it up the highest road in the world a couple of years back; the Khardung La pass in the Indian Himalayas (17,500 feet high). I did not have a video camera with me unfortunately...

Anyway I filmed this for a competition a few months back; its a sort of gonzo documentary set in Uganda. This short won the competition:

Hahaha! I enjoyed that!

Here is a photo of My old 67 triumph 650. I bought the bike in 1980 from a friend for $450. The reason for the chrome frame etc cause it was once a chopper called the Grim Reaper.. I put it back to original style and my wife road it for a few years. My son took possession of the bike 2 years ago and has put life back into it.
Sure glad to see Matt has a love for this ol gal as most young lads today love CBR's etc not the Ol Classic bikes.

This might be a long shot, but I saw this thread pop up so figured it would be worth it to mention.

I live in the Santa Barbara area and have been riding for about 4 years. My dad is coming out to visit who also rides and we'd love the chance to be able to ride together. Anyone know of any place or person who'd be willing to rent out a bike for a day or two?

Those are some really nice bikes. Hopefully there's not a size restriction to post here. ;-)

I've been using a Honda Wave 125cc since coming to Thailand 8-9 years ago. I bought this one, new, for about $1,200 (thanks to donations from DVXusers!!!). These little mopeds are work horses and are cheap to operate. This one has over 10,000 miles on it and it's never needed any repairs (knock on wood). They really should sell them in the US.

Currently I'm driving around Thailand (Day 15 of 20) as part of a 3,000km (1,800 mile) anti-trash campaign. Here are some pics.

Trash is everywhere along the roads. It's something you don't see in the postcards.

Throwing trash on the ground is a HUGE problem over here. Almost everyone does it.

In each province I'll park the motorcycle and pick up some trash. It really makes the locals think (and sometimes laugh) when they see a foreigner picking up trash.

I also visit schools and invite the students and teachers to help.

Sometimes children see me picking up trash and want to help too.

Thank you to all the DVXusers who help sponsor Isara Foundation. :dankk2:

nice PK always doing more than your share! I haven't been riding since a horse stunt fall for a commercial but I should be back on the bike in two weeks or less!

Another purchase. Saved this one from the crusher.

Oh, jeez. haha. I forgot all about that bike. 250 right? That's the one you used to let me ride to high school on lunch break in grade 9 and when it fell over, I couldn't lift it up. And I could never find neutral gear at stop lights. The Green light on the speedo?. Doh.
I rode that thing with bare feet and used to burn my angles on the tail pipes or engine. Rode Patty around to Lazuires Dam for a swim a couple times. haha.

My buddy on Sat bought a NEW MV Agusta 675..54 in wheel base..3 exhaust out the side..faack it looks nice and 1 finger brakes..
