Bikers Korner...........

i just submitted for another biker role for Harley Davidson, i can't believe i haven't even got an audition for bikers yet? and i've submitted a a lot of them.

It's the Hollywood thing, where they need you to be dirtier and greasier to sell the image. Try going in like Erich Von Zipper, or one of the Black Widows from Every Which Way But Loose.

hey i just landed something that is going to be fun....i'm going to play the brother of danny trejo's character in a comedy! just read the script and wondering why there are no other big names in this? it looks funny.

Sure, you laugh now, but watch any TV show with Bikers in it, particularly Night Court. That big guy Micky what's his name is in them all. He was even in a commercial for breath mints or deoderant, I forget which. Sorry dude, you just don't fit the Biker image, i.e. Dirtbag or Doctor... depending on which side they are going for.

Pulled the trigger today and got myself a cheap little 1991 Honda Shadow. It's a tiny bit small for me but it'll do for a while. Got a good deal on it from a kid who has to move back to Japan!

There is no such thing as a cheap bike anymore. 15 years ago, I was buying 10 year old 750's for around $100 or less. Now you are looking at close to a Grand or more.

Well, true. But I did pay under a grand up front. Of course it's in the shop now for a little work on the carbs and forks, which'll cost another $700, so all told this will be about $1600. I'm pretty okay with that.

Cheapest bikes I've seen that I would even consider were some CB450s in sorta bad shape for $500-800.

I miss the old days. I used to buy up bikes left and right, fix them, and sell them for $400-$500. That was mid 70's through early 80's bikes, in the late 80's. I only paid $75 for my 78 KZ750, and rode the crap out of it.

well i haven't ridden my bike in a week! i have been down in San Diego fixing up the condo, hey anybody need a two bedroom two bath one mile from the beach?........i'm about to read the revised script for the movie next week then shoot a commercial tuesday then back down to s.d. to work on the place.

Yeah, it sounds real nice, but it is waaaaay too small for us... unless you'll accept children for rent:Drogar-Evil(DBG):

Not a motorcycle, but I just built this up a couple weeks ago for city riding. Took her up to DC, Philly, and NY this past week and had a blast.

Well that didn't last long.

I got plowed by a car making a left turn on yellow last night, took most of the impact on my left leg, broke it in at least 3 places.

Upside is that I'm otherwise fine and there were a bunch of cops there who all seem to agree that it was totally their fault. So maybe this won't bankrupt me!
