Bikers Korner...........

Update:

Regarding the motorcycle accident I was in a few weeks ago...

I got a letter in the mail today from my insurance agency (Progressive) and, according to the accident investigation, it was determined that the fault of the accident was 100% the other vehicle.

What a relief, since the deductible on the policy is $1000. :)
Tommy Tommy get a less deductible my good man, then get a harley so we can ride! (it would be hard to keep up with you if you have a rocket)

damn there were a lot of accidents on the road last nite, all cagers. i really don't like nite driving...on a bike but in my truck i rather drive at nite... well i'm off to the beach!

Took a trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin over the long weekend to visit with my aunt. As luck would have it, the Harley Davidson 105th Anniversary celebration fell on
the same weekend, so the whole city out to the suburbs was Harleys, Harleys, and more Harleys...

^ The plaza at the waterfront on Lake Michigan was Harleys as far as the eye could see. 'Tis pleasing to the gods.

^ The Art Museum, architecture by Eero Saarinen. The fan of spines over the roof opens and closes to form a sun canopy.

^ Some of the custom bikes on exhibit inside. Lots of creativity and skilled labor and artistry on show, if'n your taste runs to
that sort of thing.

I liked the third bike, and the old Iron head Shortsters, but that trike looked like some sort of French nightmare. I didn't see gas tanks on some of those bikes, where were they hidden?

French?

Let's not say anything that we can't take back.

Some of them may tank in the frame, or have very small tanks very cleverly hidden. After all, it's not about rideability, with bikes like this.

I ride a 1999 Harley-Davidson Sportster Custom.

I am a new rider and have only been out and about the state of New Hampshire. Most of the time around the lakes and Laconia.

I am taking my bike in a trailer behind my RV across the country and plan on riding whenever I stop. Looking forward to take in some of the national parks in Arizona and New Mexico.

I rode a Sportster last time I was working in Hawaii.

Nice, but not really my sort of thing.
Yeah, it's funny.... I am already outgrowing this bike.

Just sold my house and am going to have money burning in my pocket... thinking about a new bike! LOL.

and yeah.... awesome bikes, karl!

Everyone who starts on a Sportster moves their way up. My mom had a Sporster a few year ago. She's moved her way up to a Road King now... she's about 5'2, 130 pounds and the bike weights about 750 pounds...

This is a Road King. It's not hers though -

Networker only lives a few miles from my parents. Him and his wife are very good friends with my parents, actually. I didn't tell him about this place and had no idea he was interested in filmmaking. Small world... :)

And you being an actor, it is a coincidence!

Sorry I'm late replying here...
Tom did not exactly broadcast that he was an actor. Actually, having met him on numerous occasions when he lived here, I had no clue about it. When I saw his picture I had to ask my wife about him, and even then it wasn't until I found some different pictures of him that I was sure.

Small world indeed...
