Big VS Small

Hey guys. I mlooking into purchasing a small video camera to shoot some stuff this summer around town. Now its down to the Optura 60 and the GS200 (used of course). Ive looked at the GS250 and GS400 and GS457363678...so no need to mention them since I already know about them. Now the thing that has me in a knot is the CCD. I need to choose either have a big 1/3.4" CCD with RGB Filter (Optura 60 ) .....or Three CCD's but with small 1/6" chips (GS200). What do you guys think would be more benificiary..the bigger chip with RGB or three small 1/6" chips ? Thanks for your time guys, means alot in my decision.

Well thought out question deserves a well thought out answer.
I couldn't say for sure without testing both cameras in various sitations.

The GS200 that my brother owns has horrible light sensitivity and his particular model is prone
to tape drop outs. Maybe he just got a bugger, but it's been like that since day one.

I'd say check out the single chipper for better light sensitivity v. the other camera.
More importantly, if you have the opportunity to try them both before you buy, all the better.

Hope this helps.

Look at it this way. Is Green Day better because it has three regular size guys, or would Green Day be better if it was just one big fat guy, alternating between the three instruments??

Anyone who says size doesn't matter, is lacking.

Anyone who says money is the root of all evil, doesn't have any.
