Wow! I remember that Big Tex and he was one tall iconic figure for the State Fair. Speaking of the State Fair, true story, one year we went as a family with our secretary and her daughter. When did we decided to go? During the big Oklahoma vs Texas game, we had no clue. We were stuck thick in traffic on an overpass. We could visually see the fairgrounds. Took us 1 hour to clear the overpass. Never did that again!
