So I've been editing a 106 minute feature film on FCP 4.5 HD, and have had no problems... The director and I reached Picture lock last night and I began the output process to create a TimeCode Burned DVD... Nested the sequence like usual, and applied the timecode reader filter.. Let it render over night.. Woke up today and Exported as a quicktime movie, Compressed in compressor like usual, Audio pac, and then into DVD Studio Pro, build and Burn...
When watching the DVD after about 10 minutes, the sound disappears and comes back for maybe a Line or Two at a time every 10 minutes or so for the rest of the movie... Anyone ever experience this?? I have made 4 DVD's up to this point one of which also had TC, on this project and have had no such problem.. I am in the process of exporting one that is not Burned with TC to see if the same problem occurs... The timelines have no audio drop, only once the compressions and exports have been done...
Maybe a nesting problem, trying to squeeze so many audio tracks together??? I dunno... I added two sound FX yesterday, which were both MP3's, however I don't think that this would cause a problem like this, and the sound drops well before the first wav file is heard...
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks,
Jesse Gullion
