BIG compressor 2 problem

I'm just loosing my mind with this. It's not the first time it had happened. When I am in FCP and do export using compressor, the compressor screen appears, everything is okay, but... NO AVAILABLE CLUSTER!

How's that even possible? If there was no available cluster the computer wouldn't even be working!

It seems like the damn thing can't find a hard disk to use as cluster... Anyone knows how to resolve this? The damn application is unusable right now because of that, and I have to use toast to burn not so lgood looking dvd's...

You have to go through compressior preferences or I think you can go into Application > Utilitys > Quemaster or in the system preferences I think it is in there. And tell compressior that there is no cluster only the main computer. Sorry that I can't give you a derect answer I'm not at my mac right now

Imgentertainment, I'm going back to compressor today because I need to do some nice encoding with it. Having been using Toast to convert the quicktime file, but the output quality is not ideal. I'll try to see that quemaster thing. As for the preferences in compressor, it doesn't allow me to change to anything. It just says no cluster. maybe a reinstall is in order... AGAIN :(

Reinstall fixes allot of problems. I noticed today when you go to export at the bottom of the batch box you see cluster: this computer. with a lock next to it. That is what it should say.
