Big Ben motorcycle accident

I'm not a fan of his by any means, but you hate to see this happen to any person, let alone an athlete who is the face of a franchise. I think it is a sad day and just hope no alcohol or drugs were involved and that he is OK and can resume his career.

You hate to see this happen to anyone.

I'm a Lions fan, but I really hope he's OK. I don't understand why he would be so against wearing a motorcycle helmet when his job requires one. Terry Bradshaw's probably thinking, "I told you so." A shame, so young and so talented.

Yes. I do hate to hear this happening to anyone, but ....

What kind of dumbass doesnt wear a helmet when riding a motorbike ? He'll be lucky not too lose any more brain power as it's obvious he need's whatever
is left.

Okay kiddies:

Wear a helmet when riding a bike
Wear your seat-belt when riding in a car
Wear a parachute before jumping out of the plane

And, last but not least:

Wear your raincoat when _____

Oops, that's not for kiddies. :cheesy:

Look's like Ben got lucky (except for messing up his face)! They are saying he might be released in the next few days. I also heard that his super bowl ring broke his fall/saved his life:) GO STEELERS(let the hate towards me begin)

it really sucks that this happened to him ... but he's a jackass for not wearing his helmet. Cowher has been on his ass for two years about wearing a helmet, but Big Ben didn't want to change his thrill seeking lifestyle for safety OF HIS HEAD. Congrats buddy, risk miilions and your career for a motorcycle ride.

I worked at the local benz dealer last summer. I washed his CL55 AMG and BMW 750li for him while he ate wendys(lol). If I had that fleet (sitting on 20 somethings) I wouldn't be riding a motorcycle. He should buy a ferrari if he wants to go fast...oh wait we live in the pothole capital of the world.

a cop once told me that the odds are 100% that a biker will get into an accident. granted, it is probably the case that some people have no accidents and some have multiples. also said most people have their accidents in the first year of riding, and then the odds get "better."

i think of all the fender benders I've had over the years in a car and wonder what the result would have been on a bike. Just seems like if you are a risk taker, there are better risks to take ...

I've also heard that 95.032% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

I've been told that 100% of people believe gullible is not in the dictionary...I don't know where they got that statistic from, I looked it up and it is
