I just won a pair of Vidleds (hard to come by on Ebay) and I tell you, I was thrilled,
just thrilled to get them. Been looking for one for a long time now. Got two for
the price of one with extras, can't beat that. Got some nice gels from Vidled, thanks
Vidled, got them in today, sweet!

So I've been on this satisfying high for a few days. Meantime, I've had my eye out on another
item on Ebay, thought I had a chance to win it, until now. Horrid thing has
escalated to an unreachable price with 6 hours still to go. I feel like I've got this
concrete lump in my throat and I want to hit somebody.

You gotta love Ebay. It's a high/low game like no other. Sigh. I wish I had a rich
uncle.

Yeah, on eBay you'll have much success IF you have self-control: you need to know when to back out!
Some times old stuff sells for more than it's worth new.

(pleased you got the Vidleds, and the gels already; cool!)
 
Yeah, the gels are sweet! The Vidleds have been shipped so I'll get them in a few
days. I got a sweet deal on those.

You ever get caught up in the excitement of a bid about to close and you wind up bidding WAY more than you really wanted to?....then you spend the next 3 minutes of the final countdown, praying and hoping you LOSE..."please be outbid...PLEASE BE OUTBID!!!..."
 
LOL - no, I never bid unless I'm dead serious about it. I bought my son's car,
'93 Indianapolis Camaro Pace car on Ebay, watching the countdown with my son,
my hubby, that was by far the most thrilling item I ever bought at any time.

Now I just want a tripod, a good, solid tripod. Sigh.

HEY! How do you know that I am not a midget? Or that some of the other board members aren't midgets? I find that comment particularly offensive.

Especially since everyone knows that dwarfs are much sturdier.
