I tried the Beyerdynamic MCE 72 CAM in a music store last week mounted on my DVX100AE shoe with the shock mount supplied with the 72 CAM. The guy from the store provided me with an XLR5 to 2x XLR3 y-cable since the 72 Cam comes with an XLR5 to 3.5mm stereo phones plug cable.
I set the mic sensitivity to -50 on both channels and had the level dials at app. 12 o´clock. I took the mic for a walk around the shop. I liked its spacial resolution. It´s pretty noisy, though, comparable to the DVX100´s internal stereo mike, so take that into consideration if you plan on using it in quiet environments. I liked the supplied shockmount. Didn´t notice any handling noise. Might be a good mike for recording music in a theater or on the street, but not an all-purpose mike. Hope this helps!
