Better than Gaga?

Viral video of the day. It's all over Facebook. The kid will be famous from internet exposure if nothing else.

He is definitely talented.
 
The fact that he already has OTHER people on youtube doing covers of HIS 2 homemade songs
is probably only the beginning for him now.
More power to the kid.
 
Unfortunately, kid phenoms tend to sacrifice adult careers for that youthful fame. Doesn't always happen, but it's a pretty common story. YouTube probably makes it tougher on them.
 
Puberty may well get the best of him, but I'm definitely jealous of the talent. The piano skills certainly aren't going anywhere.

Got some feeling there and a bit of style.
Avril Levigne was never in the news around here and she turned out fine.

But he's no Michael Jackson so let's keep our heads on right.

And that Justin whatever-- guy/kid. I listened (finally) to one song of his and had to cut half way through. Boy. Worries me a bit. He's got some , well, no. Maybe manufactured is what I'm looking for. But there's a TON of more talented kids out there.
These bunch just happened to hit a spot I guess. Talented? Ehhhh, no, not really. Not more than any other talented kid. Less even. imo.
 
Micheal Jackson at 14. Some of his earlier stuff is a lot more rocking actually.

Who doesn't wish they could sing and play the piano like this? Well, maybe more manly, but you know what I mean. I love the two girls in the top row. They are patiently watching, sitting through his piano playing. Until he sings. Then, you see their focus shift. From, "when is this assembly going to be over" to "OMG. He is soooo cuttte." This kid is living the dream. He's livin' the dream.
 
I think what I like best isn't his mediocre piano playing or his half-girl voice... whatever can be said about this kid, he's got a great ear for arranging and composition, for taking that song and making it his, and he pulled it off.
Oh well, the week's almost over, time for the powers-that-be to find the next star already.
