I have a feature that I shot with the dvx 100a in 16:9 squeezed and in 24p advanced and that is now ready for uprezzing to HD and out to 35mm. The movie was cut on fcp in 24p and the discussions vary now as to the best and cleanest workflow to get out to 35mm with out breaking the budget. I would welcome any input from those who have gone through the process successfully. One suggestion was dumping the film from fcp directly to tape (digi beta or dvcam) and then using a Teranex to extract the true 24p cadence then uprezzing from the Teranex to D5 in true 24p for color correct and then film record out to 35mm. I personally am not crazy about dumping the movie to any NTSC tape format if possible, but am open to any suggestions. Thanks
