Best wireless mic option?

Going to pick up some wireless labs for a project. I want to get something awesome that'll use for a long long time.... Money is an issue, but I'm not considering it cause I was something awesome.

What are the best wireless lav systems? I was thinking of going with Lectrosonics...

The only gear that hasn't really been discussed much is the the new Zaxcom stuff shipping in the next few months. The trx900lt (announced at nab) is $1500 (including built in microsd) and the qrx100 ($2400) is Zaxcoms answer to the sra.

Is there a particular budget you've got in mind? Lectro/Zax are the higher end kit, but if you don't have the budget for that, then there's no use in anyone telling you to go buy it.

You people are talking only about the transmitters/recievers. Maybe you should be reminded that Zaxcom and Lectro do not work without some kind of microphone attached??

With good transmitters ANY microphone can be used as a "radio mic".

Sanken, DPA, Countryman, anyone???
