Truth be told, I really don't know enough about this to comment, but I guess that doesn't have to stop me.
I doubt that anyone on dvxuser.com will tell you to put anything in front of your sweet Leica lens, except for anything made by Century Optics. As for filters, I don't own any (except a uv filter), but if you want a good brand I'd go with Schneider Optics or B+W.

Re: Best Wide Angle and filter set for money

there are 2 more wideangles that work: the panasonic and there is one more. i think it is called RED and is slim, 0,6 and apparently a great tool. search the forum for wideangles and you find it.

Re: Best Wide Angle and filter set for money

Tiffen sells 4x4 filters in kits starting at around $500 and going up from there. They include four different filters. The best deal out there is a 4x4 Schneider set that includes a Black Promist 1/2, an .9 ND grad, and a Polarizer. The cheapest price for this set is at Adorama in NYC - $312 for the kit. However, they rarely have it in stock. B&H also sells the same kit for $329, and they do have it in stock. By the way, this is the exact same kit sold by Century for about $50 more. And Schneider glass is incredible, you wont be dissappointed.
