Best way to transmit video from camera to a screen via wireless?

Hey

So i want to be able to film from somewhere and have it transmit the footage back from the camera to a screen that is no more than 1km away at all times.

Can anyone point me in the direction of what kit i would need for this?

1km? You would be best off with an internet based system, even something like skype, as you can feed a firewire video signal in and transmit it as webcam.

Boxx Microwave do a 3G phone network based system (it won an award) to do this, but its not cheap.

Also look at the IDX Camwave setup, you would probably have to get a few repeaters going in there somwhere to get 1km range...

I'd be in a boat moving, and streaming the images back to the shore to a screen. So a cable won't work.

Maybe 1km is way more than i need, we're probably only talking about 500ft distance.....
