I have been struggling for years with getting my reel to stream fast on my website. I have a good amount of bandwidth i just don't think Im exporting it correctly. Im using FCP any suggestions?

I suggest trying the compression board, but I'll help you as best I can! I assume you're using Compressor out of FCP, correct? You should be in any case, if you're going to the web.
Right now, H.264 is the recommended format for basically any site, and if you plan on setting up your own viewer (as in, on your own site), it's pretty much the most supported option right now, via both Flash and HTML5.
As for streaming, keep in mind, that true streaming is seldom done by even the big names like YouTube. Streaming essentially implies that the video is encoding on-the-fly as it sends to you, but this is not the case for most video websites that simply pre-download the video into a cache while playing it. This is probably what you really want, as it's simple to implement. I believe the export option in Compressor/Quicktime "Prepare for Fast Start" allows this.
