Best way to reduce "Thin" jaggies?

I'm trying to import footage shot in 24Pa/Cine/Thin into Studio Artist 3 for autorotoscoping, and I am noticing jaggies in it's interpolation, which I have traced back to the "Thin" setting on the Vert Detail on the DVX. My question is, what is going to be the best way to emulate the "Thick" Vert Detail look of the DVX in FCP? Anti-alias filter? Channel Blur? Any way to blur the edges ONLY? Suggestions please!!!

My recommendation would be to expirement as much as you can / time will allow. When I have had problems like this I have applied a slight blur to the image. Gausian blur of 1 or 2. It will make you image look soft, which may or may not ba acceptable for your project. You could also try duplicating the layer placeing it above the image, then applying some blur and playing with the blending modes.

Just some thoughts. It is really going to depend on the delivery method of the final project. If it will be projected the bluring will show up more, on small TV's it is not noticable. Which makes me think, if you are going to the small screen the jaggies may not be an issue after all ... (It might just be annoying for you while you work on it.)

Have you tested the footage on the final delivery method? Do the jaggies showup there? (If not, don't worry about it.)
