Best way to interview 3 people with a H4N?

I'll have a three person interview coming up and this is the equipment I will have.

2x AT803 lavs
1x H4N field recorder
1x OST-801 lavalier 3.5mm

What is the best way to capture 3 seperate people probably sitting on a couch style.

Can I run two XLRs and a 3.5mm lav into the H4N at the same time?

Or should I additionally get an H1 and record the third person with the OST-801 hooked into the H1?

The H4n can record up to four tracks, and from the XLR's and mic in simultaneously. Wether this will work for you depends on how the lavs need to be powered - the XLR's give phantom power (48V), the mic in gives plug in power (spec at 5V, but most handhelds only give around 2,5-3V).

Look up the powering options for the lavs, and then test it.

Well the AT803's will have their own power modules running off battery before connecting to the H4N though they DO run off phantom power if needed. I will just use the power module that comes with to save battery on the H4N. The OST-801 uses plug in power which it seems the H4N can give it. However, I was not aware that I could record 2 XLR's and from the mic in at the same time. I was under the impression that I could record from the two XLR inputs and the two mics on the top at the same time and that was it. This is good news if true! :)

My OST mics w/3.5mm locking (Sennheiser) plug work fine in a H2. I would epexct the same in a H4n.
The 'plug-in power' may need to be enabled in the software menu.
