Best way to export to dvd/web

You strike me as a nice enough guy...

Here you've downloaded for free a program you can't even handle -- you refuse to read the manuals... you steal material from other people's life's work...

What the hell do you expect US to do for YOU that you haven't already done yourself?

At least read the FRIGGIN manual!

hmm...

If I knew where to download FCP instead of drop $1300 for it, I would have done so... but unfortunately that was not the case. Absurd to me that you would assume I downloaded it?

Steal material? I'm making a video for a friends birthday with footage from his favorite film. I'm not going to be selling it on the black market lol.

By no means am I a professional FCP user, but I have short amount of time to do this project, and was looking for advice on how to get this export done right, the editing is done, so obviously I didnt just install FCP and come on here. Thanks.

Judging by the post I answered for you the other day and the post you posted here today I added two and two -- if I got 5 well... I apologize for my super rash jump to a conclusion.

But only the first one... I do think still you jumped here on your first trouble without even TRYING to help yourself.

So -- easiest way -- FILE - EXPORT - QT MOVIE... self contained or not, doesn't matter.

Open DVDSP... import your assets drag them into the track... build your menu...

Oh -- and please, read the manuals. I refuse to lead you around yet again. (even though I am... but only because I MIGHT have made a slight misjudge of your character.)

(PS -- not Army -- Air Force.)

Does not get any easier- and yes, this is the best quality for DVD.

Then you take the same file, open it in QuickTime, and do export to QuickTime movie. There, best quality for the bang and you are done.
