Hi,
I've been using the DVX100AP for a while now and love the look of Cinegamma....I use it almost all the time.
My question is, how do I best emulate (in FCP) the Cinegamma / Cinelike_D look using Sony cameras? ...and tweaking in post.
I know it wont look the same, but I'm trying to achieve the"flatter" contrast look and more mid-tone/shadow detail that the DVX gives you. I already have Magic Bullet (which is great) but tends to add contrast with most settings.
In many ways I prefer the richer color/cleaner image of the Sony...despite a colder look, but they have a much more "contrasty" look on the PD150/170/FX1.
Any suggestions or tips are appreciated. Many thanks,
