Best way of compressing for internet hosting?

Hi,

Im slowly going crazy trying to get a good quality, but small video file out of a 3min SD video (shot DVCAM).

I have heard that some people use sorensen, but I don't seem to have this anymore. I know I had it on FCP5....

I would like to stick the video on youtube, so I dont need a big frame size, but id still like it to look nice and clean.

Any help?!

Export-> Quicktime Conversion.

Select Broadand High or Medium in the preset drop down. That should do it.

Hmm, yes thats done a pretty good job, but it has turned it from 16x9 into a 4x3....

Select the OPTIONS button before you compress it and then SIZE... I use 480x270. THEN compress it.

What is the advantage to doing it this way vs using compressor?
