Best tripod/head combo under $1k

I put my bid in for Libec for the best bargain under 1000.00. None of the Bogens are real fluid heads and it shows (pans/tilts). The Libecs are unbelievably smooth. In fact, I'd rate them over the much overrated Cartoni Focus. The Focus has a horrible plastic rosette for the arm which will fail (mine did several times). The brass thread comes undone.

Between 2-3G, I think the miller Arrow line has no equal. It's movement competes with heads twice its price.
