I am working with FCPX 10.4 and Davinci Resolve on a 2013 Mac Pro. I would like to monitor 4K, 422 footage on an external 1080p broadcast monitor that has SDI inputs for color grading.
Will I get more accurate colors on an external monitor by using a Black Magic Ultra Mini Monitor and going from Thunderbolt out on the Mac to SDI on the external monitor or using a Black Magic HDMI to SDI 6G Mini Converter and going from the HDMI out on the Mac to SDI on the external monitor? Or will there not be much difference?
