Best time to use Photozoom Pro with Vegas?

You guys might also want to check out a program called Genuine Fractals. We use it for stills all the time and every review I've seen gives it top results. Although I'm sure photozoom also does a great job.

I think the best way to just get the best image ever imaginable, with no need of Photozoom Pro or Genuine Fractals.

Shoot 35mm

Really? Ya think? 35mm huh? Gee, I can't believe that no one else thought of that...

It's contribution like this that keep me reading your posts, blackhawk....

hahaha

yeah well...someone had to state the obvious for some people who dont kno that.

believe it or not....some people think..atleast..some that i kno...they think HD is better quality than 35mm film...i took a chuckle at them then told them that Barry Green would throw a mattebox at their heads if they said suttin like that again...even thou they dont kno who Barry is...which makes it funnier.

but in the end...atleast I entertain you and get you to read some interesting posts/ threads!

muahahha

Glad to help ya Envision.

Honestly...i think that was the best suggestion I ever told someone when it comes to shooting movies. :cheesy:

its already been said here to uprezz first and do your effects in that environment so that the FX are rendered at highest quality -- but might there also be an advantage to doing so if you are doing any green screen or compsositing work -- i.e., the matte having to distunguish the edhge something that was only a couple of pixels thick that is now several pixles thick?

That seems to make sense (uprezzing for use in chromakeying) from a certain point of view, but has anyone tried it? I haven't had much difficult keying standard DV footage from the DVX that is properly lit and composed for keying. I'd like to hear if anyone has tried uprezzing footage to key it.
