Best squibs available?

I have a couple shots in my film where an actor is shot and I don't want it to look like crap (i.e. most of the homemade squib tutorials). There are a number of scenes were an actor is shot in joints. Knee-caps, elbows and finally the head. Where can i pull this effect off with chunks of debris and also hide the squib? Also, can anybody point me to a short film where it has been done extremely well? I really appreciate it.

Well 1) my budget is beginning to be stretched REALLY thin. I don't know how much i could pay him and 2) I live in Kentucky... i had trouble trying to find one that specialized in that area. This place is like a little bubble that's disconnected from the world.

I like the "egg-filled-with-blood"- effect! Throw it fast and it will not be visible flying to the target in final product. A very nice technique since you can just fill it upp with a perfect amount of meat and blood for a realistic gunshot. And it creates a more splattering look than some air that just blow out the blood straight forward.
Look at some framegrabs of an egg-hit i did: Or my short test: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kd4yGgbUh3w

you need to throw them faster...maybe some type of air cannon (but this might hurt the actor) because you can still see the egg............BUT my idea would be shoot an action palette of this shot...then shoot the real thing and you can mask out the egg in the air (because it is only a few frames)....although guys he did say someone would need to be hit in the...not sure if this will work for that

I did use "VideoCoPilot" - "Film Magic Pro" - preset: Journey!
And also i used a very cheap camera: Panasonic NV-GS75.
