Question:
When you record with the DR100 the gain should be at M or High? I read somewhere that M is suggested. What about the Input Wheel volume? Somebody suggest to set to 10 and monitor in the headphones.
Thank u
I want to avoid overclipping
+1 for the Prime Acoutic VoxGuard. I have been using it in the field for a few years. It has come in very handy for broadcast as well as C.E.O's who you end up doing V/O with rather than to camera and have no time for studio. Like the other folks suggested there are always good spots and this just makes those spots even better. I once shot in a supermarket with the president of the chain, refrigeration and other noise everywhere. We got the store staff to make us a maze like booth from paper towel and bathroom tissue etc full boxes in the loading dock and used the Vox Guard .. sounded like a pro studio. Your mic choice is critical too.
